This collaboration aimed to support young minds in their pursuit of STEM education, fostering a nurturing and engaging environment for learning and growth.

Juneteenth Celebration with American Legion Post 262

In partnership with American Legion Post 262, we hosted a memorable Juneteenth event in 2022. We provided meals and introduced a Summer Book Challenge for school-aged children to promote summer reading. Additionally, we distributed free summer clothing to those in need, ensuring a joyous and supportive celebration for our community.

In 2022, Liz and Lizzy's Kids forged a meaningful partnership with Aiken STEM Camp to enrich the camp experience. Together, we provided nutritious meals and dedicated supervision, elevating the overall quality of the program. This collaboration was designed to empower young minds in their exploration of STEM education, fostering an environment that nurtures curiosity and facilitates meaningful growth.
MLK DAY 2023
In 2023, in partnership with American Legion Post 262, we hosted an enriching educational event on MLK Day to promote the history and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. Attendees received free books and clothing, fostering a spirit of learning and community support throughout the event.
JUNETEENTH 2023
In collaboration with American Legion Post 262, we organized a successful Juneteenth event in 2023. The event featured a delicious meal and the launch of a Summer Book Challenge aimed at promoting summer reading among school-aged children. In addition, we were able to distribute free summer clothing to individuals in need, upholding our tradition of fostering a supportive and joyous community environment during our celebrations.

In collaboration with American Legion Post 262, we hosted a special event to honor mothers who have lost a child during war. This heartfelt gathering provided a space for remembrance, support, and solidarity among these courageous mothers, recognizing their sacrifice and resilience.

The "One Mom to Another Mom" program was created as an uplifting event designed to foster support and encouragement among mothers. Through shared dinners, wine, heartfelt conversations, and special gift baskets, we aimed to strengthen bonds and celebrate the unique journey of motherhood together.
